<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooperative design system and a cooperative design method which are improved in design work efficiency. SOLUTION: This cooperative design system in which a design supervisor and a part supplier perform cooperative design through a network, has a means for receiving the basic design data of a product from the design supervisor, a means for retrieving the parts data of parts necessary to the product from a part database on the basis of the basic design data and acquiring the parts data, a means for verifying whether parts related to the parts data fit the product and adjusting the parts when interference takes place between the parts, and a means for transmitting a proposal request of the parts to at least one supplier who can supply the parts data or helping the design supervisor prepare a proposal request.</p> |
