PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reproducing an image synchronously with sound compatible with multi-language that synthesizes BGM music with narration in a language selected among multi-languages and synthesizes start of the synthesized sound with display of each image. SOLUTION: The method for reproducing an image synchronously with sound of this invention includes a sound generating step where simultaneously reproducing music data indicating music and voice data denoting the narration generates sound with the narration, a display image generating step where synthesizing image data denoting the image with character data indicating characters generates a display image, a display step where a display unit displays the generated display image, and a discrimination step where whether or not the display time of the display image elapses and a succeeding display image is reproduced on the basis of the result of discrimination by the discrimination step to achieve the task above.
