COPROCESSOR DATA ACCESS CONTROLLER, ITS METHOD AND ITS INSTRUCTION FORMAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a coprocessor memory access instruction having a coprocessor register display column to decide the number of data words in transmission between a coprocessor and a memory. SOLUTION: This coprocessor data access control method is provided with the coprocessor memory access instruction having the coprocessor display column so that quantity of word data to be transmitted between the coprocessor and a memory unit is decided. The coprocessor display column actually includes a coprocessor number column and a coprocessor register column. The coprocessor number column indicates a specified coprocessor to be used and the coprocessor register column indicates a specified group of registers to be used.
