PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency amplifier circuit for a television tuner that can reduce distortions for a UHF band in the case of amplifying a television signal at a VHF band or a television signal for the UHF band through the use of a composite FET. SOLUTION: The high-frequency amplifier circuit is provided with the composite FET 1 that amplifies a television signal for the VHF band and a television signal for the UHF band. When the television signal at the VHF band is amplified, a 2nd gate of the composite FET 1 is substantially connected to ground, in terms of high frequencies; and when the television signal at the UHF band is amplified, the 2nd gate of the composite FET 1 is substantially connected to ground via a 1st resistor 5.
