PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of correcting balance of a rotary electric machine which can adequately correct the balance of the rotary electric machine, resulting in a merit of low cost and that in the performance thereof without necessity of particular working processes and exclusive processing facilities. SOLUTION: In order to eliminate unbalance of an armature after the coiling is completed, the number of turns of coil is determined by calculation based on the data for unbalance of coil uniformly generated in a coiling method, and the measured data of unbalance of individual armature core and the balance is also corrected simultaneously in the ordinary coiling process. Accordingly, drop of efficiency of motor can be prevented through the structure that any particular working process and process facilities are no longer required, a part of the armature is not deleted and a correcting material is not attached.
