摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor which utilizes a magnetic induction system as a clutch manipulation mechanism for turning on/off a clutch means and increases a magnetic induction force without enlargement of a magnet, an induction ring, and moreover an apparatus as a whole in order to surely turn on/off the clutch means. SOLUTION: This geared motor comprises an output shaft 3 which is coupled with a rotor 11 for rotary drive, the clutch means 22 for turning on/off the coupling between the output shaft 3 and rotor 11, and the clutch manipulation mechanism 5 for turning on/off the clutch means 22. The clutch manipulation mechanism 5 is provided with any one of a ring type magnet 11c or a non- magnetic conductive ring 16a for magnetic induction which is coupled for rotation with the rotor 11 and the other which also rotates following the one due to the magnetic induction. The clutch manipulation mechanism is also structured to relay the clutch means 22 in conjunction with the other following the one for rotation, and the ring type magnet 11c is formed in separation from a rotor magnet 11b forming the rotor 11 and is concentrically fixed for disposition against the rotor 11.
