PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector with a retainer having a function of preventing slipping out, with reduced number of parts. SOLUTION: The joint connector comprises a connector housing 10, a plurality of terminal metal fittings 20 inserted into the housing 10, a retainer 16 which can hold the terminal metal fittings 20 in a state of being prevented from slipping out, and a short-circuiting terminal 18, enabling the terminal metal fittings 20 to short-circuit with each other, which is integrated with the retainer 16 by insert molding. By the above, comparing with the case of separating the retainer and the short-circuiting terminal as an individual parts respectively, the number of parts is reduced.
