<p>The charge is used in open casting mining or ores and minerals, and it preserves the integrity of the cartridges, and the rock fragments produced during the blasting have more optimal sizes. It has a longer shelf life. It consists of a supporting casing (1) with bottom holes (2) in which explosion cartridges (3) are fitted placed on top of the other with a central (5) and side passage (8) hole machined in them, the vertical axes of which are parallel. On the top surface (9) of the top explosion cartridge (3) , under the upper end of the supporting casing (1), a safety cap (10) is fitted containing a middle (11) and intermediary hole (13) which are coaxial to the central (5) and the side (8) hole, respectively. Holes 5, 8, 11 and 13) engage the initiating means (6).
