PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and reproducing device with which a ring buffer area in a recording medium is extended. SOLUTION: In the information recording and reproducing device to form the ring buffer area in which an information signal is circularly recorded and reproduced and a storage area in which the information signal is perpetually stored on the recording medium, a position where the information signal exists is defined as an extension area of the ring buffer area according to a deleting instruction to delete the information signal recorded in the storage area. |
