PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mask which can prevent cream solder from entering into the through hole of a printed board at the time of printing cream solder on the land section of the printed board, and to provide a cream solder printing method by which the cream solder can be printed in a single step. SOLUTION: The intrusion of the cream solder into the through hole of the printed board is prevented and, at the same time, the cream solder is made printable on the mounting section and land section of the printed board by providing an intrusion preventing section for cream solder. The section shields the opening of the through hole when the metal mask is superimposed upon the printed board in the window section having a shape which is nearly equal to the external form of the land section of the metal mask.
