The transverse welding appliance (4) is followed by a collector and interlocking appliance (5) in the direction in which the length of plastics sheeting runs. Between the collector and interlocking appliance is a feeder (6) with at least one and preferably two bars (9,11) extending crosswise to the direction of the travel of the web and moved by rotarily driven drive elements and thereby deflecting part of each bag (12). Each bar has at least one surface rolling away from the web (1) of plastics or bag. The bars are mounted on pairs of facing, spaced apart drive chains (8) guided over deflector wheels (7) above and below the length of plastics sheeting. |
