PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a carbon system heating element of any shape, resistance, and a temperature coefficient, especially, virtually close to zero. SOLUTION: A composite showing carbon residual recovery of not virtually zero after baking and either a metal or semimetal compound are mixed, and baked at a temperature where rate of change of resistance at room temperature to that at the temperature in use (1,200 deg.C) is±20% or less.
