PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for purifying coke oven gas by separate treatment of CO2 are provided to increase absorption ratio of hydrogen sulfide by separately treating carbon dioxide during purification of the coke oven gas. CONSTITUTION: In a coke oven gas purification method comprising steps of removing hydrogen sulfide which is injected into a hydrogen sulfide absorption tower(2) and contained in coke oven gas(1) using an ammonia solution; and removing ammonia from the coke oven gas(1) passing through the hydrogen sulfide absorption tower(2), the method for purifying the coke oven gas by separate treatment of CO2 further comprises the steps of absorbing carbon dioxide(14) contained in the coke oven gas(1) by injecting a potassium carbonate contained solution into a carbon dioxide absorption column(11) before entering into the hydrogen sulfide removing step; distillation treating carbon dioxide from an absorption solution in which carbon dioxide(14) is absorbed; rejecting the distillation treated solution into the carbon dioxide absorption column(11) by controlling a temperature of a distillation treated solution; discharging a part of the solution to an ammonia solution manufacturing tower(6) so as to prevent accumulation of impurities inside the distillation treated absorption solution; reinjecting potassium hydroxide as much as a potassium carbonate consumption amount according to discharging of the solution; and collecting ammonia by sending distillation treated carbon dioxide into an ammonia collection tower(18). |
