PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit that can conduct flexible image processing. SOLUTION: When a customization is set, the layout of each of image data is set based on parameters with respect to the layout of each of image data, that is, a combination of parameters consisting of a transfer start position of each of the image data, offsets (a horizontal offset HOS and a vertical offset VOS), masks (a left end mask LM, a right end mask RM, an upper end mask UM, and a down end mask DM), sizes (a page width PW and a page height PH), and black/white inversion. On the other hand, when a default is set, the layout of each of the image data is set on the basis of an N in 1 function and a repeat function that are conventionally used. Thus, each of the image data can freely be laid out on one recording paper on the basis of the settings above. Then the image processing unit can flexibly conduct image processing. |
