PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrected image generator for a projector that can project a regular image without trapezoidal distortion onto a screen at high- speed. SOLUTION: The corrected image generator is provided with an input signal processing section 11, a vertical conversion processing unit 20, a resolution converter 30 and a horizontal conversion processing unit 40. The vertical conversion processing unit 20 applies compression processing to an image signal S1 from the input signal processing section 11 in the vertical direction; and the resolution converter 30 applies resolution conversion to an image signal S2 from the vertical conversion processing unit 20 in the horizontal direction by each scanning line and the horizontal conversion processing unit 40 applies compression processing to an image signal S3 from the resolution converter 30 in a horizontal direction and provides an output of an image signal S4, denoting a trapezoidal corrected image to a projection screen J1 of a projector. |
