PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise in a current supplied to a load for a low voltage, when the load is driven by a high-voltage power supply. SOLUTION: A load drive comprises a high-voltage power supply 1; a load circuit 2 that is supplied with a supply voltage from the high-voltage power supply 1 and thereby driven; a first switching element 4, that is connected in series with the load circuit 2 and the high-voltage power supply 1 and enables and interrupts the application of the supply voltage to the load circuit 2; a limiting resistor 3, that is connected in series with the load circuit 2 and shares the supply voltage from the high-voltage power supply 1, between the limiting resistor and the load circuit 2 to limit a current supplied to the load circuit 2; a second switching element 5, that is connected in series with the limiting resistor 3 and in parallel with the first switching element 4, and performs an action to allow and interrupt the application of the supply voltage to the load circuit 2 and the limiting resistor 3; and a driver circuit 7 that controls the opening and closing of the first switching element 4 and the second switching element 5, and thereby supplies the load circuit 2 with the supply voltage, having a plurality of values and controls the frequency of the supply voltage supplied to the load circuit 2. |
