The collapsible frame for a pedal bicycle has two wheels, a seat and a handlebar. the frame is shaped as an X with asymmetrical legs , hinged at its center in a similar manner to a pair of compasses. The frame can have springs to control the suspension dependent on the road surface. The springs can be leaf springs, elastic bocks or coil springs.
