PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame timing detecting circuit which can detect frame timing with high precision irrespective of change in radio propagation environment, a detecting method, a cell search device, and a portable radio terminal using the cell search device. SOLUTION: A frame timing detecting part 100 of a cell search part 70 in the portable radio terminal calculates a correlation value for every slot with all synchronous code, and calculates frame correlation values corresponding to scramble code group numbers by integrating the deviations. The maximum value is detected shifting the slot. Thus, the number of slot offsets (frame timing) and the corresponding scramble code group number are detected. |
