<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent luminance drop of a fluorescent tube under a low- temperature. SOLUTION: This backlight 13 is formed by arranging a fluorescent tube 14 at an end surface of a light guide plate 13 provided with a reflecting sheet 5, and arranging a reflector 15 for the fluorescent tube 4. The reflector 15 is formed by forming a strip heater body 17 on a long-size board 16 in the longitudinal direction thereof, providing a light reflecting electrode 18 in both ends of the heater body 17, and coating the heater body 17 and the light reflecting electrodes 18 with an electrical insulting layer 19.</p> |
