<p>The object of this invention is to provide a display apparatus using a rear-view mirror. This apparatus has an LCD board (2) and a dark board (3), with a reflection mirror (4) covering the two boards (2) and (3). In a normal mode, the display apparatus provides a driver with a view of the area behind the vehicle using the reflection mirror (4). In a rear-image display mode using a CCD camera (5), the LCD board (2) displays a rear-image photographed by the camera (5). In a navigation display mode using a navigation system (18), the LCD board (2) displays a map image thereon. In a TV mode, a TV signal-processing unit (15) outputs a video signal to the LCD board (2), and outputs an audio signal to a speaker (17). The operation of the apparatus is controlled by a controller (12).</p> |
