PURPOSE: A circular packing member for a pipe connection is provided to prevent a gap between the packing member and a flange even though two pipes are not linearly connected with each other by inserting a recess portion of the packing member into a protrusion of the flange. CONSTITUTION: A circular packing member for pipe connection consists of an elastic body, which is installed to a recess portion(40) formed in an inner circumference of a connecting flange(4) of one pipe(2) so as to be pressed by a contact face of a connecting flange(5) of the other pipe(3), thereby implementing sealing. A protrusion(42) is formed in the recess portion of the connecting flange, extending from one side wall thereof toward the contact face of the other connecting flange. The packing member has a recess groove to be inserted into the protrusion, the recess groove having a shape corresponding to an outer face of the protrusion.
