Baffle plates are made on either side of lower edges of corrugated members throughout their entire length; they are spaced apart and tilted through angle of 25-30 deg. to vertical, their width being up to 0.2 of spacing between corrugated members. EFFECT: reduced carryover from cooling tower and circulating cycle makeup requirement; improved environmental friendliness. 3 dwg
