PROCESS FOR PRODUCING CARBON-CONTAINING HEATING ELEMENT
摘要
A process for producing a carbon-containing heating element which has a desired shape and desired values of resistivity and temperature coefficient, especially a temperature coefficient which is substantially close to zero. The process comprises mixing a composition which upon burning has a substantially nonzero carbon residue yield with a metal or semimetal compound and burning the mixture at such a temperature that the difference in resistivity between the temperature at which the heating element is to be used (1,200°C) and room temperature is in the range of from -20% to +20% based on the room-temperature resistivity.
