<p>The RSA encryption algorithm is the most used public key encryption algorithm. It has been observed that its use in the context of a smart card environment is vulnerable to differential power analysis (DPA) attacks. The invention concerns different countermeasure methods for protection against DPA-type attacks. Said countermeasures do not reduce the performance of the RSA algorithm and are of easy use in an electronic component such as a smart card.</p> |
