<p>A turbine bucket (10) comprising: an airfoil (12) extending from a platform (14), having high and low pressure sides (30, 32); a wheel mounting portion (28); a hollow shank portion (24) located radially between the platform (14) and the wheel mounting portion (28), said platform having an under surface (44); and an impingement cooling plate (38) located in said hollow shank portion, spaced from said under surface, said impingement plate having a plurality of impingement cooling holes (48, 50, 520) therein, with a rib bifurcating the impingement zones, designed to diminish cross flow degradation and reduction of local neat transfer coefficients.</p> |
