A heat exchanger apparatus, in particular, for heaters, said exchanger apparatus comprising a set of substantially identical modular components, wherein an exchange liquid flows, wherein high temperature flue gas, generated by a source of flue gas, touch the external face of said modular components, which in turn can be connected together so that water can flow indifferently through said components either in series or in parallel or, more in general, in groups connected in parallel and in turn connected in series. According to the invention said modular components (13, 113) have a radial symmetry compared to an axis and the set of modular components (11, 152, 153) is located around said axis, along which the source of flue gas is basically arranged (131).
