PURPOSE: A water-cooled air conditioner is provided to maximize cooling efficiency, to save water and to compact the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A coolant cooling device(6) is installed in a body of an air conditioner together with an evaporator(2), a plate heat exchanger(3), and a compressor and is composed so that coolant is circulated by a pump. Coolant rapidly passes between refrigerant, while refrigerant slowly passes an inside of the plate heat exchanger, to cool down refrigerant. Coolant, absorbing heat of refrigerant, is supplied to the coolant cooling device to be cooled down and is supplied to the plate heat exchanger again. |
