The non-slip marking of thin materials, e.g. book pages, is a strip of rigid or semi-rigid or flexible material with two bodies (1,2). The bodies, which need not be identical, are linked at a cutting line (5). Magnets (3,4) are at the rear side of each body, to lock together when the bodies are folded over with the marked page between them, forming a projecting tab.
