The invention concerns a novel cosmetic or dermatological compositions for topical use, characterised in that they comprise, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, at least: (a) 0.5 to 15 wt. % of benzene 1,4-di(3-methylidene-10-camphosulphonic) acid, optionally in partly or wholly neutralised form, as first filter and (b) 0.5 to 15 wt. % of at least a diarylbutadiene compound, as second filter, said first and second filters being present in said compositions in a proportion producing a synergic activity on the solar protection factors obtained. The invention also concerns their uses for skin and hair protection against the effects of ultraviolet radiation. |
