<p>The present invention provides a method for producing ethylene homo- and copolymers, particularly comprising the steps of using a catalyst produced by the following method comprising preparing a catalyst precursor by reacting the phosphorus compound, silane compound and mixture of titanium compound and silicone compound in turns, using magnesium halide as support materials, then maturing the catalyst precursor by adding a organic aluminium compound to them and producing the catalyst by reacting with titanium compound again, and producing ethylene homo- and copolymers by adding a saturated hydrocarbon containing halogens during the polymerization. The present invention provides a method for polymerization that the catalyst activities remain the same level and the distribution of the polymers become broader. articularly comprising the steps of using a catalyst produced by the following method comprising preparing a catalyst precursor by reacting the phosphorus compound, silane compound and mixture of titanium compound and silicone compound in turns, using magnesium halide as support materials, then maturing the catalyst precursor by adding a organic aluminium compound to them and producing the catalyst by reacting with titanium compound again, and producing ethylene homo- and copolymers by adding a saturated hydrocarbon containing halogens during the polymerization.
