PURPOSE: A method for calculating an appropriate elevation of a pass line after pressing using a thickness estimation model equation of a material to be processed according to widthwise rolling amounts and an apparatus in which the elevation is automatically adjusted by an adjusted value calculated by the method are provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for adjusting a pass line using a thickness estimation model equation and an apparatus for adjusting the same is characterized in that some of table rolls of pinch rolls composing table rolls(1) are arranged on a frame(10) so that some of the table rolls are interlocked by ascending and descending operations of the frame(10), a cam contact part is installed at both sides of the lower part of the other side of the frame(10) that is vertically moved by a hinge shaft coupled to the lower part of one side of the frame(10), an oval cam(6) contacts the cam contact part, a gear(7) is connected to the cam(6), a shaft(9) is connected to the cam(6) and the gear(7) by a shaft of a motor(8) driven by a PLC(programmable logic controller) signal(11) into which a pass line adjusted value is inputted, and five rolls(2-2 to 2-6) starting from a first roll(2-1) of outlet pinch rolls initially receiving a widthwise rolled material are sequentially connected onto the table roll that is arranged on the frame(10).
