PURPOSE: A brake control apparatus of a vehicle is provided to control braking force continuously in lowering voltage of power for controlling a pressure regulator by individually regulating pressure in two wheel cylinders with corresponding pressure regulator and control unit. CONSTITUTION: A brake control apparatus for a vehicle includes first and second pressure regulators for regulating pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied from a high-pressure fluid supply source to first and second wheel cylinders, and a communication control device controlling fluid communication between the first and second wheel cylinders. First and second control units(76,84) control the first and second pressure regulators respectively. The controller determines wrong operation of the first and second control units to operate normally, and places the communication control device in the operating position for communicating the first and second wheel cylinders with each other.
