SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of dissolving an elemental sulfur by its dissolving using a solvent comprising, wt.%: hydrazine hydrate, 50-90; amine, 9.0-25; sodium hydroxide, 1.0-25.0. Invention ensures to decrease the dissolving point of sulfur, decrease sulfur consumption for by-side reactions, inhibit the decomposition of hydrazine hydrate that results to decrease of eliminated sulfur (up to 10%) and enhance stability of solutions in storage and transport.
