METHOD FOR UPLINK TRANSMITTION IN AN OFDM(A) SYSTEM

A method for uplink transmission in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system is provided to improve a system performance by regularly maintaining a time interval and a frequency interval of a pilot subcarrier wave inside a base unit. A mobile station upwardly transmits a base unit in an OFDMA wireless communication system. The base unit is formed, and has four subcarrier waves and six OFDMA symbols. The base unit includes pilot resource element and data resource element. The pilot resource element about a multiple antenna(1610) is set inside the base unit in order to maintain interval having three subcarrier waves and five OFDMA symbols on a frequency axis and a time axis. The base unit is upward transmitted. The resource element is a time-frequency resource defined by one OFDMA symbol and one sub carrier wave.
