PURPOSE: A fixing jig for a cam shaft sprocket is provided to implement maintenance works in checking or exchanging parts in a cylinder head without releasing timer belt by constituting the jig unit capable of fixing installing state of cam shaft sprocket engaged with the timing belt. CONSTITUTION: A fixing jig comprises a sprocket coupling portion(41), a sprocket axis portion(42) and a sprocket key portion(43), a jig body(44), and a mounting portion(40). The sprocket coupling portion is inserted into front inside of a cam shaft sprocket. The sprocket axis portion is coupled to an axis hole of the cam shaft sprocket and the sprocket key portion is coupled to a key hole, and all of the axis and key portions extend from the sprocket coupling portion toward front portion thereof. The jig body extends downward toward its back face while supporting the sprocket coupling portion , the sprocket axis portion and the sprocket key portion. The mounting portion is integrally formed on a lower portion of the jig body and is fixed to a side of an engine.
