HIGH DAMPING RUBBER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high damping rubber composition that maintains high damping properties with no deterioration of temperature dependency and mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The objective high damping rubber composition includes 20-80 pts.wt. of carbon black and 30-80 pts.wt. of silica based on 100 pts.wt. of rubber including natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber and butyl rubber wherein the silica has a specific surface area of 150-500 m2 and the DBP absorption of the silica is 160-350 ml/100 g.
