PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plate-like material handling equipment capable of restraining an upper space low in the plate-like material handling equipment for warehousing, storing or delivering a plate-like material in a vertical attitude. SOLUTION: This plate-like material handling equipment is composed of a tilting transfer device 2 arranged on the warehousing side of a vertically placing storage 1 of the plate-like material having a rack for vertically placing the plate-like material B, and transferring the plate-like material b to the vertically placing storage 1 by vertically tilting the plate-like material b, a picking device 3 for advancing and retreating in the orthogonal direction to the transfer direction of the plate-like material in a lower part of the storage 1, and transferring the plate-like material in the rack, and a traverser 4 arranged on the delivery side, and taking in and out the plate-like material to the rack. The rack and the traverser 4 have a roller for supporting and guiding the vertically placed plate-like material. The tilting transfer device, the picking device, and the traverser have a driving roller for placing and transferring the plate-like material. The driving roller is interlocked.
