The cable holder/fastener consists of an extruded sleeve (1) of an elastically deformable material with an opening (4) along one side. The sleeve is designed to receive a bundle of cables (10) and fit into a cavity (7) in a support (6) with the cavity opening (8) smaller than the diameter of the sleeve with the cable bundle inserted. The cable holder is inserted into the sleeve cavity first, and the cable bundle is then pushed inside it to be held in place.
