<p>The saw, consisting of a carrier cable (2) with cutters (3) at intervals along its lengthwise axis (3A), and spiral springs (4) between the cutters, embedded in an injection moulded covering material (5), has the springs made with a varying external diameter along their length. The largest-diameter section (8) in the middle of each spring is designed to press against the inner surface of the mould to position it coaxially with the lengthwise axis of the cable, while the smallest-diameter sections are held against the cable.</p> |
