PURPOSE: An air vent device for cooling of automobile is provided to vary discharge direction of cold air correspondingly with passengers' need. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises an air duct(3), installed between a roof panel(1) and a head lining(2) in longitudinal direction of a car body and having an evaporator and a fan, connected with a condenser of a cooling device and installed in front of a passenger's seat; an outlet(5) installed in the air duct in longitudinal direction to face a car room and having wide width in longitudinal direction; a discharge hole(6), formed on the head lining with width same with the outlet; a variable member(7), installed between the outlet and the discharge hole to slide back and forth and having an outlet hole(8) formed in lateral direction of the car body; and an air vent fixed on the outlet hole.
