PURPOSE: An idling control device of vehicle is provided to keep the starting of an engine even in the state that malfunction at the specific part the idling control device is detected. CONSTITUTION: An idling control device of vehicle comprises a control unit(10) receiving signals from sensors, calculating the difference of the target engine RPM at the time of driving the idling at stop state and the real engine RPM, calculating the target air amount at the time of idling for obtaining the target engine RPM, and deciding that the control unit is in malfunction responding to the calculated result, an auxiliary intake passage(210) installed at a prescribed position between a throttle valve(14) of an intake passage(12) and a combustion chamber, and an auxiliary intake valve(200) opening the auxiliary intake passage. The auxiliary intake valve opens the auxiliary intake passage responding to the judgment of malfunction of the control unit.
