PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device and its accessory device by which a part or a component which must be selectively inspected and a part or a component which must be exchanged or repaired are accurately and easily grasped according to history information and preventing fault before occurring by storing the history information in the lens device such as a television lens or its accessory device. SOLUTION: The CPU 20 of the television lens 10 creates history information based on the position of a zoom lens (optical member 22) inputted from a position detection sensor 28. For example, the history information is the number of times of passing through each operation range of the zoom lens, which is obtained by dividing the operation range thereof to ten. Then, the created history information is stored in an EEPROM 30.
