PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a fine pattern by a hologram, especially a blazed pattern in a die, to extend the life of the die and to make the use of a glass die possible. SOLUTION: The lens has a diffraction optical face 2a formed as integrated on the lens surface. The diffraction optical face is formed by using a die 3 produced by the following method. The raw material of the die is mechanically processed by machining into a surface state that is obtained by rotating the envelope line connecting the peaks of the elements 6 of the diffraction optical face, a resist layer 7 is formed on the processed face, the diffraction optical face pattern is formed by mechanical processing such as machining on the surface of the resist layer, and the die material is uniformly etched by dry etching until the resist layer is removed. |
