PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of synchronizing with a host device by notifying the host device that an instant service interruption and CPU resetting occur at its early stages. SOLUTION: A reader/writer 30 judges the rightfulness of a command telegraphic message at the time of receiving the command from a PC 20 (ST7). When the command telegraphic message is rightful, a first response flag is next read from a RAM 33 and whether the first response flag is '1' is confirmed (ST9 and 10). When the first response flag is 1, the reader/writer 30 is started and a reader first response showing that the first command is received is subsequently transmitted to the PC 20 (ST11). The value of the first response flag is changed to '0' (ST12). The PC 20 side can discriminate that the reader/ writer 30 receives the first command from the PC after being started from the reader first response. |
