摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet, with which a recording image excellent in color density and visibility, favorable in color tone and having good reproducibility and wider color specification range can be formed by high speed printing, and a sublimation type thermal transfer recording method employing the image receiving sheet. SOLUTION: This sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet is prepared by mainly including a thermoplastic resin and a non-isocyanic acid compound or a thermoplastic resin, a non-isocyanic acid compound and a multifunctional isocyanate compound in a dye-accepting layer provided on a substrate. On the other hand, this sublimation type thermal transfer recording method is performed by forming an image by speed difference N-fold mode, or by performing recording under the condition that the printing conveying speed of an employed sublimation type thermal transfer sheet prepared by providing a dye layer on one side of a base material sheet and a heat resistant lubricant layer is made 1/N (N>1) in relative speed to the conveying speed of the employed sublimation type thermal transfer image receiving sheet.
