ARRAY SUBSTRATE FOR REFLECTION-TYPE FLAT DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate of etching stopper type used for a reflection-type flat display device in which the circuit shorting between the upper and lower electrically conducive layers in the subsidiary capacitance(Cs) forming part and the generation of defects due to the circuit shorting are suffi ciently prevented. SOLUTION: The channel protection film (etching stopper) 21 of a TFT(thin film transistor) 7 and a film 22 for protecting a subsidiary capacitance part which are patterned simultaneously and formed from the same film are disposed on a subsidiary capacitance wire(Cs wire) 12. The subsidiary capacitance wire(Cs wire) 12 and the upper electrode 35 of a Cs section for forming the subsidiary capacitance which covers the wire 12 are so designed that they are necessarily superimposed through the film 22 for protecting the subsidiary capacitance part.
