PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a label applying device which prevents a plurality of labels from being applied to a bottle and prevents the labels from clogging. SOLUTION: A vibrating plate 9 which vibrates a label and a first roller 10 are placed on a lower part of a stock case 6 in which labels 2 are stacked. A high frictional resistance section 12 and a low frictional resistance section 13 are formed on a peripheral surface of the first roller 10. A second roller 15 and a brake roller 16 which draw the labels 2 one by one are placed ahead in the label feed direction of the first roller 10. A third roller 20 is placed ahead in the label feed direction. Sensors 19A and 19B which detect the label 2 to activate feed operations of the first roller 10 to the third roller 20 are placed in the vicinity of the second roller 15 and the third roller 20. A bottle sensor 21 which detects a moving bottle and cancels the standby of the first and second rollers 10 and 15 and the third roller 20 is provided.
