PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the security is not sufficient because a person can easily impersonate another person by a password theft and mechan ical password retrieval in a system for authenticating an individual by using only a visible character string as a password. SOLUTION: Not the visible character string being the password but a depression history (types and sequence of inputted keys and buttons) of keys and buttons being the input operation of a personal password are used as authentication information, thereby the system can be prevented from being illicitly logged in only with the inputted character string.
