PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper fuel injection control by accurately calculating a direct entrance rate or a carrying-away rate in consideration of parameters giving great influences on the direct entrance rate of the carrying-away rate. SOLUTION: An intake air flow rate right before closing an intake valve, an intake air flow rate during opening of the intake valve or a spit-back gas amount is calculated in accordance with the opening area and operating angle of the intake valve 2 which is changed by a valve lift changing device 9 and an opening/closing timing shift device 11, and the direct entrance rate or the carrying-away rate of injected fuel is calculated in accordance therewith.
