PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of preventing the intrusion of carbonizing-chamber gas into a spray nozzle even when SiCl4 feeding from the spray nozzle is stopped. SOLUTION: In the repairing of oven wall which is carried out by spraying liquid SiCl4 into a carbonizing chamber 1 of a coke oven, a two-fluid spray nozzle 19 for feeding the liquid SiCl4 and a supplementary gas is used. Further, in the above method, inert gas or dehumidified air is used as the supplementary gas.
